Brest, France, June 28th 2012: Cordier Transports (21), first historical customer of Vehco France (ELO Systèmes at that time) renews its confidence with the French manufacturer of fleet management solutions and equips its entire fleet.Equipped since 1999, it is the third generation of embedded equipments for Cordier Transports and the company has decided to go back on Vehco for its effectiveness and the ergonomics of cartography and ecodriving’s information.
The equipment which consists of a software solution for the exploitation, an embedded computer with a touch screen in the truck, will equip the 300 trucks of Cordier Transports.Working during 4 years with a competitor’s solution, Ludovic Colley, President of Cordier Transports comments on his choice “I go back on Vehco because their solution is particularly powerful in terms of fleet management and more particulary in terms of ecodriving.Today, with the same vehicle on the same course, I still have 10% difference in terms of consumption.Thanks to the Vehco solution, I easily reach the data synthesis and I can analyze the driving behaviors in details. There are a lot of factors which are taken into account when it comes to ecodriving.
